MARY LOPEZ, supervisor for SPECIALTY HOME INSPECTIONS, has extensive background in real estate investment and property management. Having managed multifamily and family owned rental property for more than twenty years she is also familiar with the process of the repairs and replacement of maintaining residential properties. Many took her real estate inspection courses at the University of Houston and originally received her Inspectors License in 1991. However, she is also a licensed Realtor, which helps her be familiar with all the facets of the home purchasing process.

Mary frequently teaches about the Home Inspection process and how it fits into the real estate transaction at several community homebuyer seminars. She will gladly give you a call and try to answer any questions you might have.

SENIOR INSPECTOR, Genaro Lopez, also the founder of SPECIALTY INSPECTIONS is a Professional Level TREC licensed real estate inspector with a background in engineering from the University of Houston. His continuing education and training ranges from mediation and negotiation at Harvard University to Lead Risk Assessor, certified by Texas Department of Health, and Residential Code Inspector, certified by the International Code Council (ICC) as a Residential Building Inspector. Mr. Lopez is qualified to perform new home inspections and on his reports he states the "chapter and verse" where the deficiency is found in order for the builder to confirm the need of repair.
